Tax receipts are given for donations of $20 or more. Tax receipts are only valid for tax deductions for Canadian residents (click the Canada Flag above) and for U.S. residents (click the U.S. Flag above).

For residents of Canada and countries other than the U.S.A.:

Please note that donations from Canadian residents and those from countries other than the U.S.A. will be processed via CanadaHelps--a registered charity that provides secure, online donations for Canadian charitable organizations. CanadaHelps retains a 3% admin fee for all donations via Elimu’s website. You will receive an official electronic receipt emailed directly to you from CanadaHelps. Your donation will come to Elimu but your credit card statement will show “CanadaHelps.org" or “CH.org”. Receipts from CanadaHelps.org are valid for tax deductions for Canadian residents only.

All contributions go direct to our projects.

To donate stocks or bonds from your investments and get a tax break, consult your broker.

Your support is greatly appreciated. All contributions go direct to our projects in Kenya. There are no overhead costs in Canada. Operations are run from home offices. That’s why there’s only a P.O. Box and no phone number. All administrative costs, such as accounting and legal fees, mailing and office supplies are covered by our founder.
